When I saw this CAS challenge to use gingham, it reminded me of the dresses my Grandmother and Mom would make for us girls (2 sisters and I). Grandma and Mom would do cross stitch embroidery on the gingham. We had the same dresses, but in different colors. I had a pink one my Mom made as a long mu mu type dress with I think it was butterflies along the ruffled border. I wore this into young adulthood. Grandma had a few that she wore. We always got complements on those dresses. Anyhow...
This card is in Fond memory of those gingham dresses. I don't have any patterns, so I made up my own, which is HELLO.
The bow is not a true bow, as I have not tied it, but used red embroidery floss to pull it all together and added the square button.

What a fun story and a great card to match it. I love gingham and I'm digging this card!
