This flagger flagged and fell behind on the first lap. My excuse, and I am sticking to it, is that Nascar is all-American and I don't know nuttin' about it. Not that I'd do a whole bundle better with Grand Prix, but at least I'd know some of the teams and drivers. So I concentrated on making a suitable card for Jess, as I don't think a lot of my output is suitable for a 24 year old guy. And hey, this car was fast in its day, and it's certainly lasted so that should get me in the front door along with my club sandwiches.
A2 black base. DCWV black and white paper embossed with cogs folder wiped with red ink, and torn. Eyelets set in card and string woven through. The Little Paper Shop car was stamped and embossed with gold on jeans paper and cut with Labels 1. I used a black Sakura glaze pen for the wheels, gems for the headlamps, Glossy Accents on the windscreen and some H2Os on the car.

Tee hee! You did good for not knowing nuttin! I love this and I think Jess will too. He's a car guy and this is a classic! He's probably never seen one in gold....I betcha! Love all of the fun elements to this card....
Hey Sabrina....I think Calgirl is your biggest competition! She looks pretty fast! You might wanna take your sandwiches out to lighten up your car! I think she might be a hair faster.
No! Na-uh! I am not either trying to get at your sandwiches! It's cookies I like! Jeeezzee....Louise! See if I ever help you win a race again! Snort!

Your car is a classic and it looks to fall in the Street Rod category - so even today car enthusiasts would clamor to get their hands on your car. As a street rod, it would be chopped and sectioned and revved up under the hood - but still worth lots! Way to bring a lot of class to the race - great card.

Love this old car. It's much more fun to see a stately old thing like this driving slow than a modern piece of metal moving fast, if you ask me. Your Glassy accents looks perfect.

Fantastic card Sabrina! Love your vintage auto embossed in gold... it reminds me of the classic cars we have here every June at our annual Antiques on the Bay show. Love your torn paper and woven twine... fantastic touch.

Hee-hee! Hey everybody! We got Sabrina usin' the word "nuttin'" now! Doncha love it? Truth be told, gf, I don't know nuttin' about NASCAR either. Racing just isn't my thing, but, then, this card isn't for me! :-)
Sabrina, Jess is going to love this classy gold classic; it's beautiful!! I love the jean dp, too. Thank you so much, sweet friend, for making this for him. I know he is going to be so tickled to get this cool card alllllllll the way from Ireland!
