This is for CCC10 October. The challenge is to make 10 christmas cards a month.
I used the cricut ex and the fabulous finds to cut out the background and the matting. Then I used 2 spellbinder die cuts. The Fleur-de-lis and the "Doodles". I used just rite stamps for the stamping on top of the fleur-de-lis. I used copic markers to color in the images. I wanted the candles to be white but I didn't want to make it look like I forgot to color them in so I took a fine tip black tip pen...I always use Zig pens. Worked great! I outlined the candles with it making it darker and making the candles look even whiter.
I punched out the circle using a 2.5 inch circle punch. I added dimension between the circle and the fleur-de-lis by cutting down a portion of a foam sheet. It's much cheaper than using dimension adhesives. Then I used another spellbinder die cut to the left. I cut it out then stenciled with Adirondack dye ink pad...green...That type of ink pad gives a felt type of look.
