I wanted to make another tag featuring this cutie hen, and using today's "Flap It To Me" challenge, decided to make the hen into a little flappy note on the tag.
To create the gathered paper lace, I punched out a narrow strip of October Afternoon text paper and scored it every 1/4 inch. Then I misted it (with stamp cleaner, because the bottle was within reach), gathered it with my fingers, and adhered it in place to a strip of sticky tape.
Accessories: Matte Glossy Accents for glitter adhesive, makeup wedge sponge for applying adhesive for glitter, buttons, string, leaf punch for wattle and comb on hen, seam binding, sticky tape for paper gather adhesive, tracing wheel, sizzix tag die #3, martha stewart

This is so totally adorable Anna! Love the papers, the glitter and the gathered ruffle . . . . so sweet!

What a lovely folksy look to this with the heart and button and bow, and the seam binding. I am guessing that I would NOT find binding like that in the haberdashery stores here, LOL - most of it tends to be the bias binding. Wouldn't look as good .
