This is another sample I made for Door county Rubber Stamps & Scrapbooking.
I stamped the image and the verse with StazOn Timber Brown.
After it was dry, I used a dental tool for cleaning teeth. It's a plastic stick thingy with a tiny swab at the end, to color in the image. I used Memories dye inks for the coloring. I thought maybe the dye ink wouldn't mess up the StazOn, but it does, so I had to be careful.
I used Memories Mango for the pumpkins, Soft Rose to put a touch of blush in the girl's cheeks...which doesn't show much in the photo, Colonial Blue for the jacket, Soft Leaf for the hat, skirt, and pumpkin stems. Soft Sand for the girl's hair. And Adirondak Mushroom for her boots.
I sprayed it with a clear, matte fixative when I was finished. I edged the tile with brown ribbon and glued a piece of felt to the back of the tile.
It was pretty fast and easy. Oh, and I used my heat gun to dry the dye inks well before I sprayed the sealer onto it.
