This is the card I made for my younger brother's birthday (today). Since he lives in Minnesota, I won't get to see his face when he opens it :( He lives in the "Land of Ten Thousand Lakes", so he'll probably like it
I used all Flourishes stamps to make this card, and their Challenge Sketch too, just for fun
The stamps used were:
"Antique Map"
"A Guiding Light"
"Sweet Violets" (for the "Happy Birthday")
A Rectangle Spellbinder was used to cut out and make the window, which was placed on pop dots to make a shadowbox effect. Tombows were used to color in the images, then I used Diamond Glaze to make the water more translucent and add some sparkle, so it wouldn't look so flat. I cut the lighthouse and the ship out with a craft knife, so it would have dimention to it.
For the chocolate CS border I used a Fiskars punch (I don't remember the name). After that I sponged everything off lightly, in Antique Linen, for an aged look. I finished the card off with the pearls for some elegance.

Wow, Amanda, this is fabulous! It's gorgeous, and now I KNOW I need the map too. Love how you incorporated the lighthouse in as well. Beautiful, and thanks for sharing this beauty!
