What a great site Stef. I didn't even have to go to it. I was so inspired by one of the three you picked and the rest is history....
My only problem was that I didn't have a feather stamp. So I am now on the search for one in case a future card needs it. hehe There is always a reason to buy more stamps I tell you.
So, on a white cs panel, I eb a Tim Holtz tree. Then with versa mark I stamp the leaf all the while telling myself this is a feather. hehe Also stamped the bird in the nest. Then I white eb them.
The tree was colored with a Kohinoor pencil, blending with gamsol. Made a mask of the tree and bird then sponged pacific blue over all. Removed the masks, rubbed over the eb parts, and put it on a brown card. Done.
Well, hope you like my card. Have a great rest of the weekend.....TFL :0)

Hey, if I'm you're sis, what's going on w/the family that I should know about. It is what we talked about last week? Seems like you've got some SCSers behind you w/prayer, which is always a good thing.
I love this card. Your coloring/sponging is really out there somewhere near Mars or maybe Venus. What a darling image even though it's not exactly what you needed. Why dont you just jump onboard and tell the world you cheat. Plain and simple: you cheated! It gets easier and easier to admit to it once you get in the groove! Who cares? All that matters is the grand and spectacular cards you delight our gallery with every day. You mentioned it was hot one day this week. Girl, let me just tell you ... you dont know how heat and humidity are unless you've lived here. Hope you are doing well, Jessica and Ryan, too. Sweet card, as always.

My first thought was the bluebird of happiness. But that is wrong, your card is blue, your bird is white! See how the mind plays tricks on you! Regardless, your card is AMAZING! Oh, and I do believe "improvising" is not cheating! LOL!
