I don't know why you're afraid of sponging (well, I do really, because I was for a long time - you're always afraid it will go wrong!) because this looks really great to me. I love the two ribbons, and your sponging has added the perfect touch of softness to fit the image panel in with the papers.

This is so adorable, love your sponging! The best sponges I've found are at the dollar store, lol. They are scrubber sponges that I cut up into little peices and throw them out when I'm done so I don't have to keep track, lol. Aren't I terrible. lol.

It IS a cute Whipper Snapper image! Don't fear the sponging - practice practice practice! (at least that is what I tell myself, I am hoping one of these days I will start believing it). I like the liquid applique on the puppy's hat as well. This is a great holiday card!
