Anne Ryan just sent me such a wonderful RAK, including this wonderful Asian-spirit stamp set by SU. I just HAD to try it IMMEDIATELY!!!
I made a few impressions from my green and brown Adirondack ink pads onto a craft sheet, sprayed water on it and then put a sheet of watercolor paper onto the wet craft sheet. I dried it with my heat tool, sprayed some Glimmer Mist onto it, then dried it again. Then I stamped the Asian lady once and the Asian border twice with versamark ink onto the colored watercolor paper, then embossed the images with red-golden powder. I punched out the Asian lady, edged it with purple Fluid Chalks, cut out the stripes and mounted everything onto a dry-embossed panel, then onto burgundy cardstock.
Anne, thank you so much for this inspiring stamp set - this was just a first attempt and quite simple, nevertheless, I already fell in love with this stamp set!!!

Your card is wonderful. I've loved this Asian lady for a while now and you have really done her justice. Love the colors and the dry embossing and all the techniques.
Thank you so much for sharing everything you did to get to this lovely creation.
