Carla used a gate fold on her card, but she is royalty you know, and that sounded too fancy for a court jester like me. So I pretended, and just cut panels to look like one. I also tried the cracked glass technique on my wreath, but I am a poor subject of the kingdom and didn't spring for ULTRA thick embossing powder the last time I was at the town mall... just thin ole regular embossing powder. Soooo after a quick sit in the freezer (the card not me!) mine cracked, and then ripped EEK! So I added some trusty distress ink and lots of tape, and managed to pull it back together!
Carla's gallery really is majestic, so elegant and lovely. Even though I picked a card on page 1, I strolled and strolled in awe of her creativity and graceful designs! Watch it Queen Carla, don't trip on that red carpet...okay maybe she's not quite as graceful as I thought...but she's got a week to work on it, heeeeee!

What a gorgeous card, Kelly! I love the rustic colors and that perfect striped ribbon! Making a faux gatefold means you don't have to worry about keeping the gate closed!! I kinda forgot about that part so I'll have to figure something out for mine! Thanks so much for your sweet words and your beautiful creation! I am thrilled you played along!

Avon Lady, of course you would have to know I love that ribbon! Your card is fabulous, but girl that ribbon just knocks it right outta the park .... some where over there on Clifford Ave. I think!
