I know what you're thinking..........Tater has done gone off her cracker! Well, its LIGHT RED, NOT P I N K and, the metal is gold. To further splain this.....The Twisted Sister Challenge this week was to use heavy metal on our card. I decided that, gold being precious and all, I'd use gold as my metal. I put it on the halo, (they come in gold don't they???) I put it on the star and decided that still wasn't enough so I used some on the angel gown and topped it all off with some metalic gold thread/string or what ever you call it. I've had this stamp for years and always moved it to the side. For some reason I decided to use it and to use a cloud technique that Pat Smethers turned me on to using a torn paper towel. I used distress ink Broken china and some of the blue family inks from Stampin Up. The panels on which the angel is mounted are really scraps that I had cut nestie shapes out of. I don't know if I'm stingy, cheap, or too darn lazy to go to the store to buy more but I try to use scraps before cutting up a new sheet of CS or DP. Its like a personal challenge on myself.

Wow! I love your beautiful angel with the shiny halo. Yes, they come in gold. Our lovely driver has one but doesn't wear it often because I'm always shining it!! LOL! Your cloud technique sure turned out nice. I'll have to try that with a paper towel!! Looks like you nailed this challenge!!

Hmmm...halo's are gold, eh? Guess we better ask out Bus Driver- she's the only one I know with one! Tates, light red or not...you got it going on here with 'pretty'! Your image is gorgeous and I love how you can make your scraps turn out so nice! (I do that too, and it is not cheap or lazy, it's smart!) Lol- We's da 'Smart Girls'. Your sky is beautiful, and altho I use that all the time, Bubba is the one who taught it to me! Yep! He learned it online from the Stampscapes website. Gorgeous! Hugs....

Oh my, Tater! Your image is gorgeous and those clouds couldn't be more perfect for her!! Beautiful job on this challenge, Sistah. I've heard that halos do come in gold, but the only ones I've ever seen are badly tarnished. Hmm, does gold tarnish?...
