Thanks for a super sketch! Time for me to work on Christmas cards! My digi-image was perfect for this sketch!! AT least, I think so! LOL!
I used a Real Red card scored where the panels would fit near the scored lines. Next, I used a Versamark pen on the scored lines. They were heat embossed with gold to pick up the matte color on the main image. The panels were done in Garden Green which had been embossed in an embossing folder. Red metal stickers are in each corner.
The main image is of a topiary pear tree with a perched partridge. I colored the image with Prismacolor pencils. Some of the areas were colored over with a Sakura clear glaze pen. Tiny red metal stickers adorn the corners. This bow for the finish is recycled from something left from Christmas last year.
What do you think? Do the bright colors work? Thanks for looking!! ~Chrysi~
