Well, time flies! I've been trying to make a card for our QFTD09, hotwheels (aka Linda) since May! I chose her puppy love card. I flipped Linda's layout onto its side, skipped the ribbon (there are hearts in the bg) and used plain oval nesties instead of scalloped...
Around about the same time I saw this fantastic punch art puppy by Ellen Kemper, complete with instructions on her blog. Since our son and DIL have a mini Schnauzer I decided to modify Linda's card and make a 'just because' card to send to them.
I printed my background onto brochure paper using a digital kit I bought ages ago from Atomic Cupcake. The brochure paper gave it a wonderful finish.
Had fun with this. Hope they get a kick out of it.
The little red hearts in the bg are actually a perfect match to the Cherry Cobbler oval - I guess the different papers just photograph differently.

Girl, are you trying to win the Punchkateer challenge contest with this one - Oh, right, we don't have any challenge contests yet - Whew! Well, if we did, you would have won it with this incredible pup. I LOVE all the punching and your b/g is perfecto! I hate to admit it, but you are a clever one for being called Dizzi!! Should it be cleverzi - no, that doesn't sound right. Keep on a stampin' girl. I'm lovin' it!! Hugs - Fruitflakezi

Eightz punchez!!! You are going to be able to eat quite a few more of those delicious chocolates on your cruise now. Absolutely LOVE your little pooch. What a character and the textured paper is perfect for "fur". Maybe you can sick him on the restoration company or better yet your contact who left LOL! Great card!!
