When I saw the numbers in the Christmas Cheer Simply Scrappin' kit I was excited to plan an advent calendar class based on this kit. I made one last year with my downline Trisha D, who in turn got the idea from Heather Watchman's blog. KUDOS Heather, it was a great design to use the sweet treat cups in this way!
My kids love it when they find a loonie in their treat cup instead of candy!! lol
ETA: Hi all- these are the measurements
Canvas Board 16 x 20 (I bought mine in a 3pk at Wmart
The squares are 3" with a 2 3/4" dsp mat- I punched the 1 3/4" circle treat cup opening through both layers before adhering them together, because your slider trap door goes between the two layers
The slider door measures 2 1/2" x 1 14/16"
I used adhesive velcro squares and cut them into 4's with my rubber scissors.

Oh my goodness! This is exactly what I have been working on... I knew I wanted to do a count down as well and purchased the kit months ago. Do you have any details you would be willing to share? Such as... what are you using as a base? Love, love, love it! TFS!
