I started this card as the CAS85 challenge "Fall Colours", but it became a little too elaborate. The main inspiration was from the Aug/Sep 2010 issue of Stamper's Sampler. I was inspired by the tags created by Vanessa Spencer on page 15. The first step in the instruction was "tea-dye tage and let dry". So, I brewed some tea, soaked my pre-cut tags and cardstock in the tea for 2 mins., then let dry. Later, I found out that tea-dying does not mean soaking your cardstock in tea. I had these 'tea-dyed' tags for a week, without knowing which stamp image I should use. When the CAS challenge came up, I decided to use a tea-dyed tag and cardstock for the fall colour challenge. To actually qualify for the challenge, I had to make another card. My CAS-worthy card: CAS85 Vintage Vogue by bigfootbecky at Splitcoaststampers

Silly girl, this is a perfect CAS. I love the torn edges, the script and the lace! Everything goes together so well, Rebecca! Your card has lots of texture, balance and colors.
