It started out innocently enough... should I do the challenge today and use some twine on my card? Why not, I thought to myself, remembering Anne's challenge to choose an image that would accommodate a crazy caption. The old rusty wheels started turning, and I had a plan to combine the two challenges. I'd CASE this pretty card by Phyllis, and get 'punny' with the title.
So far, so good. I colored my image with Copics, clear EP'd the wine bottle and carefully cut it out. Since the stem was so delicate, I thought I'd use sticky dots to adhere the image to my card. Here's where things took a turn for the worse. I ever so carefully placed my image on the sheet of dots... upside down!!! Needless to say, it's taken awhile to roll all those pesky dots off my wine bottle. The twine bow was supposed to go around the neck of the bottle, but I had to put it at the top to cover up some smudges.

Twine Knot. Okay. I likes it! Admittedly, when I first saw this, I had to reminesce about days longs gone...thankfully. Back in the day, it was common place to see wine bottles (no, no beer bottles ~ I hung around with a different crowd). with some kind of flower in it. So for me, this is really too funny. Oh, never to repeat those days! Your card, dahling, is vonderful.

Hilda you are definitely on a roll!! Three cards!! WOWZER that is awesome!! I love this card and both of your titles!! Good luck to you.... You know that pink is my favorite color and I love flowers!! I am just delighted that you have honored me by making three cards this week! I want to thank you for playing in the QFTD25!! I have been having such a great itme! I am hatching a plan to get some DIRT on Anne so that she will let me stay on another week or two. But so far no one has come up with anything that I think will work!! I think they are saving the good stuff for when they are Queen and want more time!! I am not going to be happy to surrender my crown, cloak and scepter tomorrow!! But if I must, I must..... This crown is really giving my neck a workout, I am having to take medication to ease the pain. It is so enormous and jewel laden that it has gotten quite heavy after wearing it seven day straight!! But I do what I have to!! I have had to keep the sunroof on my car open all week and it is starting to rain here, so I have gotten a little damp and in the shower it has been hard getting my shower cap over it to keep it dry....
