Summer has flown and I am so far behind with the SCS challenges I was going to do that I can no longer recall which ones they were. You could say our summer took a sideways turn the day our basement flooded...
I have been trying to catch up on the QFTD challenges however and managed to make a few cards to honour some of the recent "recipients of the crown". Still have my list of the other SCS royalty that I haven't managed to CASE yet...
A very special great-aunt of mine recently passed away - she was 96 and her funeral was more of a celebration of a wonderful life than a sad occasion. She will be dearly missed by the entire family so I made seven different cards - one for each of her children.
QFTD23 was princessheather - what a wonderful gallery to enjoy! I chose her Live Laugh Love card as my inspiration. Love that square lattice ef! Also, I used one of my fave Verve Plain Janes for the sentiment which I stamped in black and embossed with clear ep.

Oh this is so beautiful and soothing. I love the border punch you used - especially with that ef. The pearls are a nice touch without being too over stated. Wonderful verse. This card jumped out at me when going through the "recent uploads" and into my favourites it goes.

Oooo this is pretty. I love that designer paper and wonderful embossing. The punched piece down the middle is attractive. The addition of the pearls makes this sweet!

This is really BEAUTIFUL Diz. Don't you just love that SU EF. My favorite one. When I first got it, I thought it had too much texture, now I want to use it on every card. Your colors, layout, sentiment, border punching and corner details are priceless - BEAUTIFUL!! TFS!
