Hi! I made this card for today's inspiration challenge: Elizabeth's Embellishments. I chose these candle hurricanes http://www.elizabethsembellishments....urricanes.html for my inspiration. Wow, they are really cool!
I tried to keep a glass-like feel to my card; I tried vellum first and that didn't come out well. So I tried stamping, but black on black doesn't really work that well, even if the background black has been misted with a light colored smooch spritz first! LOL!! So I finally decided to go with these adhesive die cuts on a piece of black cs sprayed librally with gold smooch spritz. The picture is rather washed out, but it was the best one due to all of the glimmer on the card. Added some white rub-on spiders (placed one where the raven can get to it for a bedtime snack) and a tiny red half pearl for the raven's eye. And finally some antique brads.
TFL and have a great day!!

This is a wonderful creation - I love how you tried to get the same effect as the glass hurricanes (which are super cool and spooky by the way). This is such a great Halloween card.
