I colored the image using today's SCS Newsletter technique, Blended Pencils. After I finished coloring my image, I cut it out and glued it on top of another piece of white cardstock. Easy-peasy way to get a nice "hanging off the edges" image!
No carrots on this card!

Easy-peasy out-of-the-box - but only if you like cutting. I want to give that technique a go - I thought it sounded a bit like Black Magic, but I have to admit I've been speed-reading things this week. It certainly gives a lovely look.

Sqwauk! No carrots! No carrots! No fun! Sqwauk!
Don't mind ole Starlet O'Carrot, she is really bent outa shape because no one is coming in the back door with carrots and that's where she's been hanging! She is supposed to be making sure the birthday party guests have plenty to drink and eat! Oh brudder!!!
OMG! What an awesome little card this is Jill! I love the soft subtle colors....your awesome coloring and that its going to end up in Miss Eula's hands is a huge bonus! How cool is that!!! Woot!

Very pretty birthday card! Love the soft, subtle colors and your penciled image is fabulous! The blue bayou, so saffron, & chocolate chip are an awesome color combo! Hugs, Trish
