F4A26's challenge is to Mash It Up and use stamps by different companies. I repeatedly stamped a flurry of small snowflakes (a Rubber Soul stamp) for the background, then stamped, embossed and cut out a large Stamp Oasis snowflake, and lastly used Hero Arts wonderful sentiment about a snowflake being winter's butterfly. Because of what is says, I gently curved the large snowflake and taped its centre to the card, and popped up four of the points to mimic butterfly wings.
I used Colorbox Baby Blue ink throughout, leaving the background plain, and the large snowflake and sentiment embossed with a sparkly ep. After cutting out the sentiment, I inked the edges and embossed them. A couple of rhinestones add a bit more bling.
To take the challenge even further, I used a Great Impressions Merry Christmas stamp on the inside.
This card is also for the Christmas Card Challenge for 2010.
