Greetings everyone. Today's Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge card is made with an image from Michelle Perkett called Eva the Glam Mermaid. With a name like that, you know that nothing less the glitter and rhinestones and pearls were in store for this little lady. Eva was my dear Grandmother's name so I had to do her proud!! I also just some Cuttlebug shell die cuts both on the outside and inside of the card.
Punch Count
6-for the lace border
36 for the shell PATP inside the card and envelope
16 corner die cuts
4 Large scallop die cuts the image are layered on
2 Lattice pendant die cuts
10 Cuttlebug shell die cuts
No weight loss this week-stressing out and eating chocolate faster than I can punch and turn the crank on the cuttlebug.
Pamzi - this card took me a total of around 8 hours

Carol, I just adore this card. It was well worth the eight hours. All those gorgeous details. The colors are perfect with this great image. I love everything about it!

No wonder your cards are so awesome - 8 hours - WOW! I could never devote 8 hours to a card. I couldn't think of 8 hours of things to do to a card. But then I don't have a close personal relationship with Martha Stewart - how else would you have evey punch she ever made and then some..... I have quite a number myself, but find myself using the same ones over and over. I should really use some different one..... Just to lazy...

Carol, when I open one of your cards, I have to linger a while to take it all in....maybe not for 8 hours, but a while. LOL What a gorgeous card full of details and I am sure your grandmother would have loved it. I guess Pamzi will award you the Punchkateer of the Week ribbon for all this punching. Just think if you had left off the chocolates. I just adore your card!!!!!

Bearzi, Bearzi, Bearzi, I'm SO GLAD you disclosed how many hours it took you to make this card, so I didn't have to ask you: HMTDITTMTC???? LOL!! Your colors are so vibrant and amazing and I love your mermaid image the wonderful side panel treatment. Carol, it would take me 8 days at least to even think of how to come up with all this. The use of all those diecuts and punches on one card astounds me. You and Nutzi have got it going in the punch department. I am ashamed as I haven't used as many lately. I'm now back up to the challenge after seeing this BEAUTY!! I LOVE your work!! Hugs - Da Princess!

WOW so beautiful. You always inspire me. I tried to put almost as many punched pieces on a card one time as you do and I had to laugh because mine looked like Martha Stewart threw up. LOL. You are truly talented.

Carol, you so did your Grandmother proud on this one! Every detail is so beautiful - the corners, the lacing, the 8 zillion gems, the colors, your coloring, zee punchez (especially zee punchez and die cuts), and your papers. I really, really, really like this card! I would have to eat a ton of chocolate if I tried to make this card - I may surprise you one day and try to case one of yours (of course I would be scared to post it because there is no way I could even get close). Thanks for sharing - it is a treasure.
