and the Speedy the Cat's Friends Challenge to make a Harvest card. After seeing all those basket of leaves cards I just had to make my own
I used the plastic texture plate from the bakery department of Michaels ( thanks to Krischir for the inspiration ) that has a basket weave and used mesh on top after I ran my ink pad over it to change the color. I double stamped the woodgrain bg and added 3-d paint for the nail heads. The leaves are little plastic type leaves I bought from Joanns that came in a bag. I believe from the fall decoration section a couple of years ago
Thanks for looking

Your textures turned out great!! I love how you used the mesh for the background and the leaves are just the perfect size for your charming basket. TFS

Irene! Yay, you found the cake mold! Your card is beautiful, and the basket weave is perfect! Love all the textures you've combined here. Just an awesome card! oh, and I think I need to go back to Michaels now, because after loving the woodgrain/brick pkg so much, I think I need to check out what other styles there are. It was a couple months ago, and I don't remember at all! I'm liking the basketweave for sure!

It's not often I find myself speechless, but what you've crafted here is enough to make anyone speechless. I've watched you evolve into a wonderfully talented visionary when it comes to your cards and your projects. How you could have ever thought about using a bakery whatever is beyond my wildest imagination. You've really entered into another realm of crafting: your cards/projects are truly phenomenal, Irene. Herein lies your passion and your depth of talent! You're simply amazing, dah-ling.
