This is for today's Inspiration challenge. Here is my inspiration. http://www.pinktaffydesigns.com/whit...ny-p-4330.html
First I scored 8 1/2x11 cs at 5". Fold at the 5 score
I cut the hat shape without a template, just hoping to get it correct. I did! I ran the whole hat through the CB with the 5x7 art deco folder. I took a strip 1/12"x8" and used a CB border ef on this, running both ends through to get a continuous emboss. Adhered this to the bottom of the hat.
The flower is from mulberry paper, cut with the Peony die from Spellbinders with each petal having 2 layers and the second smallest having 4. Sewed a button through all layers and adhered to hat with dimensional adhesive. There's the knit beanie.

Fabulous looking flower. This reminds me of the Beanie gift-card holders we did as a TLC coming up to last Christmas.
Well done on free-handing the template. I hate doing that, I always have to fold them in half for symmetry and all the rest of it.
