I loved the applique tree and santa on the two little outfits and thought this Penny Johnson Shhh was the perfect image to use. It has Santa and a tree. I am disappointed that the paper piecing and added dimension does not show in my photo. I stamped a second image, painted and cut out the fur cuffs and hands, the dog, the star and the fluffy ball on the cap to pop up over the main image. It is really adorable IRL. The photo also does not show the glossy accents applied to the star and ornaments. I painted the images with reinker. I painted all the white fur , fluff and Santa's beard with a fairly thick layer of chinese white watercolor paint.

I love the fresh look of your Christmas card!! I think it's the stripes and the red and white that does that. The image is adorable - I love the puppy.
