I created this as an anniversary card for my husband who builds robots.
I started by cutting a white piece of paper to size and embossing it using a Tim Holtz embossing folder. It reminded me of gears! Then I lightly brushed over it with a blue ink pad to help the circles stand out better. Next, I cut out a blue and a white piece of paper with the Nestabilities Labels 4 die and embossed the edges. I also went over the edge of the white panels with blue ink to give them more definition. Then I stamped the robot image with Versamark Watermark ink and blue embossing powder onto the white panel. Finally, I stamped the gears with the Versamark ink and varying shades of embossing powder before I cut them out. Once I adhered everything to the card, I attached the gears at varying levels. The dark orange gear I attached flat, the blue gear I used one pop dot, and the light orange gear I used 2 pop dots stacked on top of each other.
Now I'm off to hide the card before my husband sees it...
