This card is for a baby girl and meets the requirements of these challenges:
Priscilla Styles Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge #67
Allsorts Challenge Week 65: Paper Piercing/Piecing
Kaboodle Doodles Challenge #37: Use Metal
I started this card by cutting out all of my pieces of paper. I cut out the panels for the main image with the Nestabilities Labels 4 dies and embossed the edges. It's kind of hard to tell from the picture, but there is a light purple piece of paper that separates the main card from the designs and keeps the white panel from getting lost on the card. Next, I pierced the swirls in the corners of the white panel on a piece of cork with an awl. This is my first time paper piercing a design and I'm not completely satisfied with the results, but I do think it's worth trying again. I threaded a piece of lace through a metal slide and attached it to the back side of my striped piece of purple paper. Lastly, I stamped my focal image with Versamark Watermark ink and purple embossing powder. Then I attached everything to the base card.

Your card has a lovely soft feel to it Cindy and I love the pricking detail. The lovely soft colours make this a perfect Baby card.
If you enjoyed doing the pricking It may be worth treating yourself to a pricking pen. You will enjoy it even more as it makes it a lot easier with the proper tool. I love pricking and use it often when I make cards. It is very theraputic and I get withdrawal symptoms when I have not done it for some time.
Thank you so much for joining us this week in our Metal challenge at Kaboodledoodles and we hope you can join us for further challenges.
