This is for the Technique challenge to use ribbon, but not bows or knots. The butterfly is made from tulle ribbon where I cut 2 pieces with 1 a little longer than the other. Tie these together with the longer piece on top, leaving some floss to make the antennae. Once tied together, cut the ends to shape the wings.
The pretty bg c/s is from DCWV; Linen Closet stack which has some beautiful designs. Happy Birthday is stamped and embossed on a narrow panel with the corners rounded. Pearls are added at the top of this. The corners on the right side of this card are all rounded.

What a great idea to use tulle. It looks very pretty. I have that stamp set but I haven't used it lately. I will have to get it out again because I really like it.
