A second card for today's TLC challenge. It's my brother's birthday coming up soon, so I thought I'd make a card suitable for him. Mind you, with 3 of his kids horse-riding, the house is full of rosettes already!.
This is BIG, to fit the rosette, a whole sheet of card scored and folded in half. I stamped the chicken wire in black in the centre, and then a script stamp in brown all round the edges.
Computer-generated sentiment printed twice, with the 1st Class punched out and turned into a mini rosette of its own. The corners were ticket punched and I added black pearls.
Image is Penny Black Ooh La La, stamped in Versafine Black on Bristol Board and coloured with watercolour pencils. I cut a circle of thin chipboard the same size and stuck them together. Ran some strong double-sided tape all round the edge and pleated the blue organza ribbon round. Added some red satin ribbon, and then another chipboard circle behind all this.

Good job on the rosette. I really like that sentiment piece, also.

Wow, it sounds like this took a lot of time and patience, but well worth the effort. It looks great.

Your brother's house may be full of these ribbon, but none will compare to this one! How cool is this? Love the image. I'm sure this will be first place in his mind. HBD to him!
