Featured Stamper CAKath has an awesome gallery. I loved the look and feel of this distressed beauty.
I kept the same basic layout and distressing technique, but changed up the bg stamp and main image. Coloured my digi image with copics and then cut out with Spellbinders rectangle and then sponged some ink around the outer edge. A bit of the same sponging was used on the bg image before distressing the edges.
Stamped and embossed my sentiment in the corner and then added some matching ribbon (acutally polka dot, but turned it over for this one!)
Thanks for taking a peek - and congrats Kathy - well deserved!!!

Wow, this is gorgeous! You really captured the distressed look of the original. The main image is beautifully colored and I really like the way you sponged inside that panel. Great colors. Thank you so much for visiting my gallery and CASING me today.

OMG Laurie, we cased the same card, but I couldn't get myself to fold in the corners. You did a terrific job and I was going to use that same b/g stamp, but decided to go with the En Francais as Kathy did b/c I was using an Eiffel Tower image. You rocked this girl!! TFS!!
