This is for 2 challenges. The first is for the Stampin' Sisters in Christ challenge. We were challenged to make a card that encouraged someone to forgive, or to move on and live today pressing on forgetting the past. I thought that this quote embodied that idea. The second challenge was the inspiration challenge. I was inspired by the frame. It made me think of copper that had started to oxidize. I decided to emboss with my cuttlebug and then ink-spray-smash the cardstock with turquoise colors. I then painted embossing medium to the top of the already dry embossed flourishes and added copper ep and heat embossed. I purposely left areas where the copper didn't adhere so that it would look antique and weathered. To add to the weathered effect, I distressed the edges of the green cardstock that I framed the two panels.
