One of my best friends has breast cancer so I figured that since "get well" doesn't really apply to her in the short term, I would make a card that encourages her to enjoy her journey to healing. She has amazing faith in the Lord that just shines though to everyone she knows so I knew that this would be the card for her. She knows that God never allows our pain and suffering to be for nothing but redeems it for joy!

I love the idea behind this card. My sister is also battling breast cancer and I send her a card every week. I struggle with ways to continue to encourage her, so you have given me a new idea. I love the way you used the swirls behind the bike and the little string you used to make the bow.

i had breast cancer and as a survivor and someone who went thru 6 months of intense chemo, surgery and radiation. In addition to all of the physical, physiological changes that my body went thru during and after.... TRUST ME... no one wants to hear "ENJOY THE JOURNEY!" Cancer is not a journey that is enjoyable, nor does one want to even get the opportunity to have to try and face finding some remote sense of enjoyment in getting well. It is a horrible process, that no one should have to face. PERIOD. sorry. about that....but its not fun nor any sense of the word "enjoyment" can be found in dealing with Cancer --, going thru treatment, care, nor healing. BAD choice of words..."enjoy".
