This is for QFTD22 to honor our good friend Cindy Motherway (Mothermark). Congratualtions to you Cindy Girl! You bring so much joy to the SCS community with your stories, humor and your Teapot Challenge but most significantly because you extend your loving friendship to so many. You are loved by many, Cindy!!!
How often do you have the opportunity to photograph your project along with the inspiration piece. Cindy created this Spring Snow in April 2008 Spring Snow by Mothermark at Splitcoaststampers I popped this into my favorites as I was in intrigued and inspired as I have such a love for snow scenes. One day I came home from work and was very surprised to find this very special treat in my mailbox. Needless to say I was thrilled. Thanks again, Cindy.
I changed the color of green, the cabin image, the size of the card and the main image layer from a circle to an oval to better fit my cabin. I did my best to stay true to Cindy's creation except I didn't have any small reindeer silhouette images to put in my moonlight. This was lots of fun for me this morning. I really enjoyed using the embossed white for the snow on the ground and cabin roof instead of my norm of white embossing. I will definitely use this technique more often.

GORGEOUS!! Both of those cards are just AWESOME!! Love that pretty snowy scene, but I only like snow in photos or on cards. Don't give me any of the real thing!! The only ice I like is in my iced tea!! Here in central TEXAS, we only have snow about once every 10-15 years for a few moments. Adequate for me!! Please check out the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge by clicking on the link below my signature. We would be so very honored to have one of your lovely creations in our weekly challenge!

Ms Kittie, has class begun yet? I'm getting anxious over here to start Snow Scenes Class 101 so I can create the masterpieces you bring to our gallery. Beautiful tribute to our sweet friend's talents.
