It was my DH's birthday last week and this is the quick and simple little card I made for him. He loves ALL animals (which makes cardmaking for him a whole lot easier!) and we have a beautiful cat called Ruby who my DH plays with alot and loves to bits. She is a real character and fetches and retrieves just a like a dog!
Anyhoo, I coloured this cat in the same colours as our Ruby with OMS and Prismacolor pencils, and lightly chalked the blue sky. I added Art Institute fine transparent blue glitter to the balloon. The tiny hearts next to the sentiment are the leftover punchies from my EK Success Arrows border punch (they look just like tiny hearts).
I diecut the circle, then embossed the blue cs, and glued the image panel behind the blue cs (so it's like a window). There is a Scor-Pal line above the fawn cs bottom border.
