There was a beautiful blue frame with a textured design and antiqued edges on the Decade Gifts website that Stef chose for our inspiration this week. I sponged Vintage Photo ink on some Tim Holtz DP that already had a vintage look to it then ran it through the CB using the Victoria EF. More sponging was added to the sentiment layers and the distressing tool was used. We learned to make the shabby chic flower out of wide ribbon at our last stamp club meeting. The layout is one of Julee Tilman's anniversary sketches on the Verve forum. She is celebrating 3 years of her stamp company, so join in for a chance to win prizes by completing the 5 sketches in the next week. I can't wait to see the 8 new sets she will be releasing...peeks will start tomorrow on the Verve blog.

Wow, I love your ribbon flower!! It caught my eye right away. Great design and the comforting colors are perfect with the sentiment.
