This is for today's TREEHOUSE THURSDAY CHALLENGE # 062 - Sketch. Ashley not only designed us some kewl digis for August but a kewl sketch to use for today's challenge as well. She is so talented.
This is also for today's WAYS TO USE IT CHALLENGE # 283 - It's Button Time and it must be bc I have really been using up some buttons. I may have to resupply my stock soon. I have been on a button rage lately. I made this and debated about a button, left it off then when I read today's WT challenge I just had to go back to the drawing board and add it. Love the way it looks on top of my ribbon. I tried some black hemp but ended up going back to the white.
My dp piece was made with some freebie clip art spiders and spider web images. I printed off a whole sheet of this just because I thought it looked kewl when I finished placing everything where I wanted it. I used my Fiskars bat punch on the top panel and then used the punched out bats on the sign and the dp. I punched out my favorite spider punch from Martha Stewart and placed it in between panels. My ribbon is some I have had for years and never could figure out what to do with it until this card.
For years I avoided Halloween holiday bc my mom died and was buried on Halloween and I just could not find anything to celebrate but a couple of yrs ago (after only 19yrs later) I finally started getting back into the groove. She used to love for me to bring the girls over so she could see them all dressed up in their costumes.
OK enough of that. My spooky sign is a digital image from TREEHOUSE STAMPS DIGITAL LINE. I printed it and then cut it out. Yep, that is what I said, I cut that tiny pole and sign out with my scissors. Shannon would have heart failure trying that one. LOL.
This is such a fun layout I hope you play along with us over in the TREEHOUSE and can be entered in the weekly random.org drawing.
