This card did not turn out the way I thought it would, but I like it anyway!! It's for four challenges that are going on right now. One is today's color challenge to use Poppy Parade, Crumb Cake, and Baja Breeze in the same card. It's also for the Flourishes Bring Back Beautiful Challenge to color an image using your favorite coloring method. http://www.flourishes.org/2010/08/we...ack-beautiful/ It is also for Flourishes' Child's Play challenge http://www.flourishes.org/2010/08/it...ase-week-time/ and the Flourishes sketch challenge. http://www.flourishes.org/2010/08/fl...allengefttc79/
The carousel horse image and sentiment is from Flourishes' Enjoy the Ride set and the horse is colored with Mom's special markers. I used red raffle tickets to imitate tickets for a carousel ride. I also added a rhinestone to the top of the pole to touch it up!! I'm very proud of it and I hope you like it too!!
Thanks for looking!!
Joanna

Oh - you're using that lovely Flourishes set. I was happy for you when I saw that your mum had won it, I was sure you'd have fun with it - you obviously have.

This is beautiful! The tickets in the background remind me of the carnivals where you use tickets to ride on the merry-go-round or carousel and you got to pick the horse you wanted to sit on.

Joanna, I think this card turned out just beautifully!! You did a super job coloring that lovely carousel horse image with my blender pen and markers. I LOVE your idea for using the tickets as one of your background panels--genius! And the rhinestone at the top of the pole??? The perfect touch. What an awesome work of art you created!! LOVE it
I'm so proud of you!!
Love you bunches and bunches,
Mom
