I was wandering around the gallery a few months ago when I discovered IC152 - Don Li-Leger's web site. I recogized the work instantly. I have one of his prints hanging in my living room. I never knew anything about him though and discovered through the challenge that he is Canadian, as am I!! I just love his work and have just now finally gotten up the nerve to try to do a card inspired by one of his pieces. I chose this lovely work. I had so much fun doing this card. Thanks SmilynStef for pointing me in this direction.
Thanks so much for looking.

This is just so lovely and you did an excellent job - I was shocked when I saw the inspiration piece and saw how closley you have mirrored it. So wonderful!

How very fun that you owned his art, and didn't even realize it ... and even more fun that it inspired you to make your own art ... love the circle of art in all of its forms ... fantastic inspired design.

Very cool card - love the colors you used and the images - looks like a beautiful work of art (which of course it is).

Jo, wow, wow, wow, you did this SO BEAUTIFULLY!! You have mastered this for sure. It looks like a real work of art, which, of course it is! Hey, I didn't copy what Nancy said - I just noticed she said something similar. It really was my original thought. Nancy is always trying to be me, but who can blame her???? LOL! Your colors, sponging and images are absolute perfection!! TFS!

Beautifully done, Jo! Now, you know you can just do your own prints.
This is very striking and the sponging is fabulous.
