This used a disposable Wilton frosting piping bag with 1/4 C. powdered coffee creamer (be sure this is in the tip really well), 1 1/2 TB sugar, 1/3 C. Nesquik, 1/3 C. dry milk, 1/2 C. milk chocolate chips and 1/2 C. (approx 2 mini-marshmallows in a cello bag all packed tightly down so ingredients don't mix together, tied off with a twist tie and then a ribbon. The candy canes are for "stirring" from the poem.
Directions: Bring 4 C. of water to a boil, add everything except the marshmallow to the water and stir constantly until the water returns almost to a boil. Pour into 3-4 mugs and add marshmallows.
Poem:
Snowman Soup
The days are getting shorter now,
Winter's almost here,
With freezin' weather coming fast,
Here's a bit of cheer.
Here's a little snowman soup,
Complete with stirring stick
Just follow the directions
It's sure to do the trick!

Thanks so much for sharing this idea. My kids and I made 18 of them for Kids Church teachers and all the extra teachers (gym, art, music and the office people) at school. The kids stamped the plastic with stazon. It was tough because it was so slippery. But they did them and you can tell it is from them. Then they helped fill them. So thanks again for sharing this idea. It made for a great family project.

Just saw this on the site. Very cute! Wish I had seen during x-mas time. Do you put all of the ingredients in the cello bag? If so, what size did you use? Or does just the marshmallows go in the cello and the rest is in the pipping bag? Thanks- Michelle :O) [email protected]

Oh my God! This is the cutest thing I've ever seen. So clever--I love it! Thanks for sharing.
