My card for this week's Inspiration Challenge was inspired by Carmen Collage Belt Buckle from Frankie & Julie. I loved the contrast of the vibrant red butterfly with the foreign texty background.
I started with a Chinese Newspaper I picked up on my trip to New York. Next, I printed out a butterfly from Katie Pertiet's Lifted Wings No. 3 on white cardstock, detail cut the image, and glued it to the newspaper.
I finished with some Basic Grey Scarlet Letter Paper, a sentiment from Hero Arts, and a few black adhesive gems.
This card also works for this week's Free For All Challenge ... because the main thing I have in my flower garden right now is lots and lots of butterflies and moths.
