This is my catch-up card for the week. I have been tossing the sketch challenge around without an idea but I've also been cleaning my craft room so I'll blame my late creation on the cleaning...lol
I used this week's sketch but made the image panel a little bigger because I already had this digi printed out at this size. I colored the image with colored pencils, used some photo markers to smooth the colors out a bit, chalk to add the sky in the image. I also put some clear gel pen on the rain drops for sparkle. The bg is done with the cb, th swirls folder, I inked it then put my cs into the folder and ran through the cb. during my cleaning I found this piece of yellow cs with already punched with the MS trellis punch, so I tucked it under the edge of the image panel. I used some paper piercing on the two corners of the image and the edge of the fan pieces. I left the sentiment off because I wasn't sure where it would fit. I sure hope you like my little scrap built card. I think it turned out pretty.

I like this sketch rotated - I've seen a few, and wondered why I didn't think of it. Lovely colour scheme - I like the blue from the image panel carried through to the negative embossing - or whatever that technique is called!

Love what you did with the embossing folder, and the image is gorgeous. I am going to have to CASE this one! I am actually one of those real fans of rain and can sit at the window for hours watching a scene like this one. TFS

Ha! One day I will start cleaning my craft room and you won't see a card for months. Love your rain idea. Very pretty card. Such great ideas you come up with.
