This card was created for CAS 78 challenge, "Ways to Use Polka Dots". I know I've seen a similar card using the Punched Posies Stamp Set and a similar layout but I don't have a clue where. The changes I incorporated was embossing 2/3 of the card base with the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder and scoring the edges to give a nice crisp finish. To embellish the center of the posy, I punched a small polka dot (circle/notebook hole punch size), topped it with glue and then rolled it in Dazzlin' Diamonds glitter. Wha la. . .sparkle.

The card base is the embossed piece. I placed the embossing folder on the front side of the card leaving space below & above on the card front. Since the card base is 4 1/4" x 11", there wasn't a fold in the way to deal with. Both sides were open to align the folder in the middle. After I ran the embossing folder through the Big Shot, I scored at the end of the embossed area to give it a nice finished edge. The only layers on my card are the Marina Mist & Whisper White layers (sentiment) and the popped-up Scallop Circle image. Really saves on paper. LOL Hugs, Trish

What a perfectly lovely design!! I love the dots and that wonderful shade of blue. Your flower is just beautiful, and I love how you did the sentiment on that long strip across your card. Terrific
