I combined a couple of challenges in this card. Today's Ways to Use it challenge asked that we use woodgrain in some way. I used the woodgrain background stamp in tone on tone and then stamped using the weathered background stamp in white to create an antique look. I like the way it came out, but it's a little difficult to show with a photo. I reached for a nestie panel and stamped the beautiful floral branch from Elements. In keeping with the antique look, I colored the leaves neutral and went with a yellow blossom for a change. The bird is popped up on 2 dimensionals to give the illusion of flight. In keeping with a simple theme, I stamped the sentiment directly onto the base card, but used the bold ribbon for a little interest. I think this will be a good card for my birthday stash. Hope you like it!

Holy moly this is gorgeous!! I love how you just accented the flowers--and the yellow looks awesome! The background looks really cool too with the two background stamps you used and of course I love the bow!
