I had to make a quick and simple card for my niece's birthday later this week, so this is what I came up with. I am also popping this card into the SCS CAS75 Challenge of 'dry embossing'. See this link for the deets: CAS75 (July 12) Dry Embossing by resqbarbie at Splitcoaststampers
The beautiful embossed frame is by Craftwork Cards
I coloured the bee with OMS and Prismas, then glued on black and yellow Fun Flock. You should feel him: he's all soft and furry!! I added clear glitter to the bee's wings, pink to his antennae, plus pink and lemon glitter to the flower. I lightly chalked around the image too. The tiny lemon and pink hearts are the leftover punchies from my Arrows Border punch.
Thanks for having a peek at my card! Please come and peek at my Craft and Card Blog: http://www.instead-of-ironing.blogspot.com/ where you can read further details plus you can see a close-up of the flock.

This has to BEE one of the cutest cards I've seen!!!!! Love that scalloped and embossed frame and the cute bee and the little peeks of pink!! At the risk of sounding a tad odd, I would like to be able to feel the bee, as he does look like he is full of great texture. Very cute card! TFS. : )
