It is made with an image from Priscilla - I went for a classic combination of pink and black! I added pearls around the neckline and lightly coloured the skirt with pink chalks and then added SU Dazzling Diamonds - there is a close up a bit further down the post.
I used three different DPs and lots of layering ro complete this card! I used some silver mesh and some fabric roses that were way too big - I cut half of the height off them and they were perfect! Silver pearls added to some corners finished it off.

How lovely! Don't you wish these type of dresses would come back in style? I would have to seriously lose a million lbs and get liposuction, but they were so pretty. This card is so elegant and beautiful and you did a wonderful job on it.

Yikes, Linda, what a card this is. My DH's mom used to own her own her dress shop and I can only imagine that this is probably exactly what you'd see if you were to enter an independent dress shop. I have a question: why you use chalks, do you spray w/a fixture? When you add glitter does that make the chalk adhere better to the paper? I love the classic pink and black palette. Do I see flocked paper here? Whatever, it's all good! All the right embellishments make for a perfect card.

Linda you really rocked Priscilla's wonderful digi!! Love your colors, papers and embellishments. When I was a girl those dresses were right in style along with pearl!!! I wore pearls almost everyday! WOW! Have times changed.... I must admit I miss the dressier look of yesteryear where men wore suits and ties and ladies wore dresses or suits and every hair was in perfect place. But I also like the easiness of today's fashion and the loose easy hair!! That's my look for sure - denim or khaki, cotton blouses and casual, easy hair.

Very pretty. My neighbor had a sewing garage sale and it was full of lace. It sent me thinking about you. I'm praying for you and your family and some peace and boredom for a time!
