At last I have finished making a card!! I started this card for Father's day for my husband, and just finished it for him for our 27th anniversary a few days ago. Dh flys stunt kites for a hobby - which look absolutely nothing like these kites. But I did love this set, and bought it with DH in mind.
I just love the paper I used - the glittery off colour clouds!! DH was getting impatient for his card, and several times I had to seek his advice - what angle should I put the kites at, how to place the tails etc!!
The tails are made of a wired covered kraft coloured material which I coloured over with my black copic.
Thanks for looking! Hope I can get back to making my cards a little faster!!! Card measures 7 1/2 inches by 6 inches

Why Viking Deb!!!! I feel the vapors coming on!!! A card?!?!? WOW!
Okay, this is very pretty. I too love the paper you used for the sky and for the kites. Our family likes to fly kites when we go to the ocean. It seems you did get the right angles.
Oh NO! There is one little glitter that is not pointed just right!!! You will have to do the whole thing over! Mwahahahaha!

This card is terrific! I love the paper and that stamp is wonderful! It is so great that you involved your DH in the angles and all - that makes it so much more meaningful - which is a good thing since FD was like a month ago..... I am putting this one in my favs......

This is fabulous and I'm totally impressed with the technical know-how that went into the kite flying bit - more impressive is the bright striped kites all in a row - makes such a striking card against the subtle glittery sky and clouds!! Love it! Happy Anniversary too!
