This cute astroboy/alien combo is a Chickengirl digi image I won last week. This was my first experience with digis, which I found tricky to work with on a variety of levels. I colored the image with colored pencils (but couldn't use my favorite Gamsol technique because the solvent kept dissolving the toner). I also clear embossed the "glass" visors of their space helmets.
This is also for several challenges (links below), including to use a background stamp (I used SU Linen on my dark blue layer) and an "It's Simple" challenge which stipulated *no DP* and *no embellishments*. That was harder to do than I thought! I kept wanting to add things (like brads) or use cool swirly (designer) paper. Darn! But still, I love how it turned out.
Accessories: CM corner rounder punch, SU large oval punch, SU scallop oval punch, small star punch, scissors, dimensionals, colored pencils, sponge, clear embossing powder, buttons (for "stamping" the rings on the gray layer)

I love how it turned out too! Coloring digis can be VERY tricky!! this card is just darling, Emily!! Enjoy the day...I am spending it indoors... a little too sticky outside for me (altho I was in the hot tub at 7 this AM!).
