Oh my! I discovered sports is not my thing when it comes to stamping. My stamping cabinet was bare when I went looking for something sportsy to stamp for Mark. I finally discovered this now retired Stampin' Up! soccer set I purchased some time ago in order to create some scrapbook pages for my youngest son's soccer pictures. I haven't gotten to the scrapbook yet but thank goodness I had this set! I was able to make a sports card for Mark. He is going to get this very special Soccer Dog.

Hi Trish! So sorry I am so late to greet you at the teaparty! I got a little side tracked...someone told Sam that if she got in the penalty box that she probably would not get hit by the hocke puck! Finally, I coaxed her outa that thing! Do soccer games have penalty boxes??? Snort!
OMG! For not having sports stamps, you sure aced this challenge! What an adorable little card for Mark! I am so happy you were persistant in the search for the perfect stamp! This is such a great card!

The name of the retired set is I Love Soccer. I have to warn you that I had to work both the ball and soccer goal images. The ball I retrieved from the little car that is in the set. It has a bunch of soccer balls in a net on top of the car. I used a marker to mark all the lines of the ball eliminating the net part prior to stamping. Once I stamped it, I connected lines and filled in the little octagons. lol The goal and lab were both facing right. In order to have my goal facing the lab, I stamped my image in versamark, then in black ink and stamped the image on a clear envelope. Then I turned the envelope over & rubbed the image on my cardstock, I quickly covered it with white embossing powder. It wasn't as bad as it sounds. lol Hope you find your stamp set, it's a cute one.
