Well...right now our store doesn't carry chalks. It will, because they are on order, but today I had to think outside that box...And...Out came my powder make up!
I decided to use this sentiment from the NEW RELEASE: Flourishes and Frame. The background and Frame were stamped in VersaMark and embossed in Copper. I stamped in the sentiment in Adirondack's Espresso. Next, I used the make-up brush to add in the chalk/blusher! I erased away the boo boos with a WHITE eraser. I sprayed the chalked area with hairspray to "set" the chalk/blusher.
To finish, I added in punched butterflies and a Premium Paper Flower. I used my Scor-It-All to add in the embossed lines.
Finished card size: 4 3/4" square
Total time to complete: less than 30 minutes

Hooray for make-up. I never would have thought of that!! I think I have some make-up left from around 1968 that might still be usable! That makes a wonderful color, Faith! Aren't you clever!!! Fab card, BTW!

The copper is scrumptious and the make-up is perfect. Beautiful!
