Woo hoo! I'm actually on-time for another SCS Challenge! This card is for the CAS75 Challenge of Dry Embossing. See this link for the deets: Forums at Splitcoaststampers
I'm giving this card to my SIL for her birthday this week.
My card uses the new Cuttlebug Perfect Perennials embossing/die folder combo so you cut the central square and do the embossing at the same time when you put it thru the CB. Very handy for quick cards. Then I simply lined up the pink cs over my white cs and marked the square so I knew where to stamp my image. The image was coloured with OMS and Prismacolor pencils and I lightly chalked around the image. I added crystal Art Institute glitter (from Shabby Chic set) to the flowers and hedgie's envelope, as well as the tiny pink heart next to the sentiment. The tiny pink heart is the leftover punchie from my Arrows border punch (they look like tiny hearts to me!) Added the ribbon (made in 2 separate elements and the bow was made with my Bow Easy), added the pink gems and it was done in no time.
