Today's Technique Lover's challenge was to combine heat embossing and dry embossing ... Clean and simple challenge was to use dry embossing. I was originally going to combine on same image, but I tried this instead. I may come back w/another TLC later today.
I kicked it "old school" here and used a brass stencil and hand embossed (you know, with the light box) the cattails on ivory. I then sponged some chalks over the image and sponged the edges with green.
The "dp" is garden green, clear embossed w/a wheat (I know, I'm mixing my vegetations) image & sponged the edges with green. Sentiment stamped in garden, oval punched & sponged before popping up on dimensionals.
Thanks for Looking!

Love the cattails and wheat bg! Good for you for doing the embossing "the old fashioned" way. I knew it wasn't a folder. Your choice of colors is perfect.
